Parents help "next book" plans

Meet and greet!  Love it!

Our Story Times are really fun.  They always make me aware of what a wonderful teacher Debbi was and is.  She gets right to the childs view of the story and makes the reading so exciting.

I love the Story Times but the Meet and Greet after the story is really special.  The parents bring the books for us to sign and give us their thoughts on the book and their childs reaction to it.  That gives us so much information for future projects.

We've even had several great suggestions for our next book - which by the way is already in the works.  We have the general theme and story line for the book.  Now I have to put those ideas on paper so Debbi can add her magic with her adorable illustrations.

Once I have the idea I usually let the animals tell me the story.  Some days they tell all, but some days they have nothing to say.  Those days can be very frustrating.  Keeps my old brain in gear, squeezing words out of those little critters in my head!

Great article and right to the point. I don't know if this is truly the best place to ask but do you folks have any idea where to employ some professional writers.
