Nov. 8, 2010 A hospital stay is never something you want to do but if you have to be there - the Mercy Hospitals are the place to be.
I was rushed to the Emergency Room at Mercy Anderson last Saturday with a possible TIA or small stroke. I was furious when they said I would have to be admitted. I thought I could do the tests I needed as an outpatient. I know now I was wrong. That marvelous group of nurses discovered things that could only be learned by spending several days observing me.
My special florence nightengale Andrea gave me what I needed before I knew I needed or wanted it. Gwen came in and did the same. Katrina added her help too. I wish I could remember all the names but ladies I'm really really bad with names. That's not a stroke problem either. It's just a wonderful talent I don't have.
The food was amazingly good. Between the care and food I call it my Bed and Breakfast stay! Thank you all so much be being such wonderful caregivers.
