I can remember wanting to be a writer and not knowing what to write about. Now I can't keep ideas from bumping into one another. I have a book and several children's stories in the fire. Writing is going to be tough. Right now I have a lot of marketing to do. I'm doing a special promotion of Everyone's Child to celebrate the new paperback version. I want to let everyone know the book serves perfectly as a young adult book. It is an easy read and a really interesting story. It tells how the war affected my life as a young child. I was 7 when Pearl Harbor was bombed. It is a social history but it closely follows the war which makes it a painless history lesson. Now with the paperback version it is more affordable for schools and book clubs.
In addition to that - Good Grief! It's Winter! will be out soon. I really look forward to that marketing. Reading to the children in the school is so rewarding and so much fun. Debbi and I really enjoy the kids.
