CHATTER FROM THE MUSE

Refreshed and Recharged!

9/28/2013
As you know, my husband has been in the hospital several times, followed by nearly a month in rehab.  I was unable to enter anything very often on my blog.  He is much better now.  We celebrated his good health with a trip to our beloved Smokey Mountains.  We spent a wonderful week there enjoying the magnificent scenery, eating fabulous food (too much of it!) watching for the mountain creatures and chatting with the wonderful people who live and visit there.  It seems everyone is friendly there.  I think it's all that beauty.  You can't be anything but pleasant surrounded by those mountains.  God used every wonderful thing he had to make those mountains.  I have always enjoyed it but I realized what "soul candy" that scenery is.  Everywhere you look is another site so beautiful you have to search for an adjective strong enough to describe it.  All the weariness and anxiety of life just falls away.

I hope all of you find a place that does the same for you.  We all need a place to refresh and recharge.

Please note my announcement on the home page that I will be changing my site, as I learn how to do the things I want to do.  That means it will be a slow happening but I am determined to make this a site where readers can get to know me and my writing.  Please continue to visit and know I really appreciate your comments.
